In this case, it's likely that the app wasn't seeing enough use to justify its continued development.

In any case, you can still check out The Wall Street Journal on the Windows Store ahead of its shutdown. It's not clear, however, if the app will completely stop working on June 30, or if it will just be retired from the Store.

Microsoft announced a whole bunch of new features headed to Outlook across all platforms today. The one thing they all have in common? Helping you save time and (hopefully) create a better work-life balance.

The official Wall Street Journal Windows 10 app will apparently be closing next week on June 30th. Users of the app on Windows 10 PC and Mobile have begun receiving notifications from within the app and the official app description has been updated to include the text encouraging users to download their iOS and Android apps or simply use the WSJ.com website. No reason has been given for the discontinuing of the app though it’s likely due to lack of usage (people probably just visit the website).
